you know how all radios come with a cage around it to make it easy to put in and out using special keys? just dont use the cage so the radio is mounted directly to the car.... like it comes factory... a lot of people do it but most places like best buy dont. so all you really need to steal the radio is 2 butter knifes to push the locking tabs out releasing the radio and rip it out.... and yes sir but unfortunately tho its gonna come with alpines hefty price tag lol :(

I didnt think, or know, that you could install a radio without the cage. I mean, I know they make those "Install Kits" that are like black plastic and they just kinda hold it inplace.

Im hoping to buy a new unit and Im hoping itll come with everything. If not, I know the guys at the stereo shop next door and Ill talk to them about installs and stuff.

The cage is designed to rrequire the 'tool' to be used to get the deck out, how does it make it easier to steal?
