I picked up a new set of 17s but now it looks like Im driving a monster truck. I want to lower the car but am unsure of how far to go Is there anywhere where I can figure out the best drop with stock suspension (other than the coils and UCAs)

Thank you for realizing that you need to drop

Skip the 'training bra' phase of lowering with springs, and go right to coilovers, for a few hundred more, you'll be able to get the perfect fit.

I have to agree, go with adjustable suspension and then you can finetune everything to your liking. Either full coilvers or good struts with some coilover sleeves.

If you want a good coilover at a decent price I would definitely get function form type 1s. Good range of height too.
