Go custom with a single muffler and dual tips, that shouldnt affect power at all, just tricky to make it look good.

That's what i was leaning more toward now. Yes it IS tricky because i've seen a lot of bad jobs. I don't know how that would look on a CG though.

Not directly, but you could take it up to a muffler shop and they should be able to make it work for like 75$. Also there is nothing rice about dual mufflers on a 4cyl at all. besides im 99% sure dual mufflers are quieter to a single equivalent.

Yeah Shahid, I was just gonna say....Cody has it on his and it actually sounds pretty good.

i guess for sound mayyybee but like he said, loss of power makes it pointless for me...not that on our cars exhaust will give you mad jdm torque anyway but still spending money for sound and less power is not my cup of tea

Well after reading all the comments, I have to say some of you guys are not so nice about simple questions. He just asked if an '04 v6 exhaust would fit. Done. No need to rag on him.

The only thing I would say is you could have searched this topic but you've gotten all of your answers.

Basically everything JMillerF23A1 said:
1. Add a functional dual exhaust, lose low-end torque. Reduce torque loss by using smaller diameter pipes to the mufflers.
2. Weld on another muffler that is not connected to the exhaust pipe.

Do it if you want. Ignore people who call it ricey because it honestly isn't. Actually kind of ridiculous to compare it to underglow.

Re: Dual exhaust on an L4?

The stock exhaust piping is 2.25" if I remember correctly, so if you were to use 2" piping going back, you probably won't lose that much low end torque.

are the stock oem pipes really 2.25"? for some reason i thought they were 2"... at least for the I4s
