Does it use more gas to run your a/c turned all the way blue as opposed to sum of the way blue?

Every time your A/C condenser clutch kicks in, your using more gas. It turns off for short periods, but that's about it. Soon as you turn on the AC button, your idle speed goes down and your car has to compensate by raising the idle using more gas.

^ word.

just having the a/c on period will reduce your gas mileage. having it all the way blue, or even all the way red wont matter, just the system being on itself does the job.

just take it all out :lawl:

running your ac is more fuel efficient than driving with the windows down.

I also disagree on this......after I took my AC out there was no choice but to drive with windows down during hot days.........mileage is the same compared to driving with AC off and windows closed.......I only open my windows 1/3 of the way though since the sedan's 4 windows ventilate air dominantly compared to coupes :p

I guess if you cruise at 80-90mph with windows fully opened then the drag effect will really kill your mileage haha.......I cruise at 70mph max
