but then......i was thinking.....if that was bus only place or road, why would other pplz trying to get in there? they'd know the block is there. (assuming there's some sign letting them know or something)

I guess it's kinda like a speed bump, but you HAVE to slow down. Below a certain speed it probably lets you through. Or it's a form of staggering people from entering a major street or something.

no i think it's just like a stop sign that forces you to stop. if you watch again, after that black car strikes, one of the two poles went down.
