That doesn't look too bad for what it is I guess, I didn't know they remade it. It looks a little stretched. I dig the 80's version as well - my uncle use to have a red one. So that is what I think of as the icon of Scirocco. Yeah it's boxy but that's what classic Volkswagen is.

I wouldn't say bringing the Scirocco back is a mistake at all though...the biggest mistake for VW in recent years was the Phaeton. Over the two years it was made, models ranged from around $65k to $100k. Sorry VW, no one wants to pay $90k for a Volkswagen...thought that would have been obvious. Isn't that what Audi is for? haha F :slap:

Wish VW would have differentiated this Scirocco from the Rabbit a bit more - too similar at a glance.

be like it is
they are still making and selling the phaeton in germany says the german VW newsletters i get...i guess its like the people that make a certain american car most likely own one. even though audi is owned by vw...people up north buy vw's and in the southwest audi's. people in the very south buy bmw...etc.

i like that they brought the rabbit and scirocco back...too bad the clutch is garbage in mk5+ cars...
