I'm looking into some resonators. My current exhaust piping is a custom 2.25" straight-pipe to the muffler (with a magnaflow universal cat). I've found some very cheap eBay ones, but don't know if they are any good. Does it really matter what kinda brand it is?

Here are two I found:

2)

Number 1 looks pretty cool, but it's more expensive. Is it really any different or is it just called "Ultra Quiet" because it's a bigger resonator. This one is 14" long, and #2 is #18 long. So shouldn't #2 be quieter? It's cheaper also.

I'm just trying to eliminate the "rice" sound from my exhaust system, one resonator should do the trick. But I want to get a long resonator so I don't need to get another resonator.

the longer the better...less rice

So I'm better off getting the 18" resonator that is smaller in size, rather than the "Ultra Quiet" one right? I'd rather get that 18" anyway since it's half the price of the "Ultra Quiet." That "Ultra Quiet" one is 14" I believe.

Yeah honestly I don't even know if that huge one will fit under my car. They would have to modify the piping to make it fit. That 18" one looks good. Are there any longer resonators out there?

Actually, for about the same price, I found this 26" long resonator, but I don't know what brand it is. It is also available in 20." Link is below. Anyone have a 26" resonator and know how much it will reduce the sound? I don't want to reduce it too much that it'll sound stock, but I want the exhaust sound to be more controlled and not nearly as loud.
