If you upgrade to 3" piping and delete your resonator, you can acheive a deeper sound. Hope this helps.

Why would he need 3" pipe with just bolt ons? There is no need to go overkill. 2.5 " is what most cat backs use, to keep sufficient back pressure.

I have a skunk2 & it sounds good. Not too ricey, but not deep. I have heard my buddie's greddy muffler & its real deep. He is running custom 2.5" piping header back. Stay away from N1 style or small bullet mufflers, higher pitch. Bigger can, usually means deeper tone.

Thanks guys, I'll keep you updated on what I do. I'm keeping the stock 2.25 piping as it's a v4.

that will be very loud. i dont think that's what the OP's goal is.

Megan Catback might be what you seek, the thing is loud for no reason. Check on YouTube for vid clips.

then i dont think that is what he's looking for either....

this is my setup. it's quiet for the most part and looks halfway decent IMO. But honestly you can't go wrong with an APEXi WS2 or GReddy SP2 exhaust.

04-05 RSX-S muffler with customer 2.25 piping back and no resonator. Might be looking to upgrade soon though.
