F23a1 swap to f23a4
Hey guys I need sum help I know this swap has been done before and it's been talked about alot but I'm down on to my lAst straw I've changed my tps my o2s and my vtec solenoid and I still can't get my car goin pat 4k rpm please help I keep getting codes P1259 ( no dtc definition found) and P0135 (o2s heater ckt malfunction 1/1) please help what all do I need to change so I can have my old car bak this is very stressful please shine sum light on my dark moments thanks in advance

it could be bad valve seals or worn out piston rings. have you gotten a compression test? the price + labor you'd pay to get something like that fixed would most likely equal throwing in a used motor with lower miles. that's what I had to do last year.. I burned a qt of oil every 300-400 miles. It killed my cat, then my next cat. had to do something to pass emissions

if you do get a replacement motor down the road just stick to getting an A1, save you some headaches

P1259 tanslates to VTEC system malfunction. my accords burning a lot of oil so when oil gets too low vtec wont kick in, causing a 4k rpm limiter. Check your oil level. My bet is its not even registering on the dipstick. Get a leakdown test and go from there.. if its piston rings Ive read something about pouring marvel mystery oil into the cylinders, letting it sit overnight to kinda reseal/rejuvenate the oil rings, then in the am turning it over without the spark plugs installed to get the oil out. I've heard it helps but havent tried it myself yet. Get a second opinion on that though. I'll probably be doing this procedure next week.
