the title was just to suck u into replying
well as the title says the fans stay on everytime i turn on the car
when i turn the ignition to the "on" position but without turning on the engine the fans just turn right on. nd when i turn the ignition to off they stop. its like the car is controlling the fan once it gets power. they run the whole time the car is on or even in the on position
i have checked the coolant level nd its pretty normal. honda flushed/refilled it about 6 month ago.
i did repin 1 connection that wasnt supposed to be repinned nd blew the clock fuse but then i repinned it back to its original place, replaced the fuse(fuse didnt blow this time)
i heard that there is a sensor in the radiator/ do u think i blew that
how would i be able to change that sensor or replace

i dont think that honda put in any CEL's for the fan switch but i would wait for another person to verify that. if this is something new then i would get the ecu read again just incase

yea basically our fans in our cars turn on when there's power...some cars fans turn on when the engine is off, key off. ours need to have the key on engine off. but anyway...my fan is on when the engine is off key on after i've been driving it meaning the temperature is high. something must be telling your car the temp is too high like nyknick said and turns the fans on. check the thermostat. it's basically something in the cooling system telling your car is hot. simple really.

that happened to me once and it was cus i had the vtec solenoid and fan plugs switched around so the vtec plug constantly grounded the fan sensor and made it turn on everytime i turned on my keyswitch lol.. took me a while to figure out wtf it was that day til i figured out vtec wouldnt kick in lol.. did you mess with the plugs?

i havent touched any plugs but since i did the auto to manual swap i have a lot of sensor plugs that i snipped off like 2 days ago to make everything look nice.(only snipped off plug that were not connected)
wat does the fan plug look like(2 wires 3 wires) but vtec does kick in everything works fine except ma rpms guage doesnt work/nd thats pretty much when the fans started messin up

the fan plug looks exactly like your vtec plug, like they can click right in.. but the vtec one has one wire and its a green plug and the fan one has two and i think its grey.
