Re: Freedom's F20B Sedan

Yea, you can use all of the stock mounts even the post mounting bracket can be used that comes on the f20b.

The swap was very easy. It was just like putting a replacement engine back in but only better lol. The only thing that I had to do was create that harness for the tdc and ckp sensors since they are inside the dizzy instead of being on the oil pump housing. I can make these harnesses for any of you all who are interested in the swap.

Our distributor plug on our engine harnesses is an odd plug so I de-pinned the plug and re pinned it to a plug like our O2 sensor plugs since its a fairly common plug and read the wiring schematic of the ecu and figured out the wiring to make it work.

That was the only thing that I had to do that would be somewhat difficult. But if you can read a schematic you can do it. Or just buy one from me lol.

The trick thing that civic guys and integra guys do to "trick" the ecu to think that those sensors are there does not work for the bb6 and the cg5 chassis. They require more ohms resistance than the civics and tegs. :( All DATA comes in handy

By monday I should have the car lowered with some sort of wheels and have the windows tinted.

I just finished my base map on the p28 so tomorrow, hopefully she will be running a bit better.

Looks like you've got the mechanics working nicely, congrats on the swap. Not the car just needs some purty exterior parts.

yea, the car definatly needs some purty parts to make it look better.

The clear coat is coming off of the hood and the roof but we just happen to have a painter at the shop :)

Stick the painter in a wooden crate and send him to me so he can paint my car! lol, My car has a mixture of 4 colors. (Heather mist metallic, primer, black bumpers waiting to get primed and painted, and bondo) Lmfao, my car is so full of fail.
