That b18c would be a great swap for your civic. If you end up getting an accord though the rule to stick by to avoid complex swaps would be 4cl = h22 swap and v6 = 3.2 cl-s swap, and whatever you go with STAY AWAY FROM THE AUTOTRAGIC! I hate my auto tranny with all my heart...

Quick question, if I get a car with no Cruise Control, is it possible to install it later on? Like after the 6-speed swap? If yes would it be reliable and reasonably priced?

Welcome to the site. My V6 auto tranny was still running strong at 133 miles, there are good ones out there. But it's not really worth having to worry about it. So judging from your mentality, I'd look for a 5spd. If you want a V6, try to find an auto that isn't on its last leg. If you've heard a 6spd swap wasn't reliable, they didn't do it right.

As for adding CC, not sure what all is involved in retrofitting a car with the module and what not. Maybe someone else will chime in on that.

Btw, SE's only came as 4cylinders.

You're right, when I looked up the serial number on a website yesterday it said it was an EX. Its just that it had all the options and whatnot so I thought it mightve been some special edition. When I got it everything was perfect including tranny but after only about 15 000 kilometers it started coming down. And I managed to fall in love with manual. Automatic just doesnt really feel like driving to me, idk
