Front 6.5" Speaker installation (doors)

so many thanks for the info and reassurance...

any idea what they are going to sound like with the stock 6 disk changer? I'm just hoping for a little better sound quality - shoot, I got the pair for 35 bucks total, so i'm more worried about taking the door apart than anything.

they wont sound "great" but will definitely sound better than the stock speakers...

problem....

my two door doesn't look like the wood grained part in your picture where it is one peice with the window/door controls.

its got an arm rest, and there is a screw in there, but the door/window control panel is sort of "underneath" that part that vertical screw was removed was in...

Now i'm stuck... door is sort of hanging, but there is no way to get it off... I can see the crap stock speaker screaming to be replaced if I get on the ground, but I do not see any way to clear the door assembly so that the door handle will pass through it.....

ideas??? This is my only day I have a garage to work in!! ahhhhh
