So i jus replaced my front rotors last night...got a pretty sweet deal form my brother in law who works at R1 Concepts in La Habra who specialize in rotors...got a pair of front slotted/drilled for $60.....so during the install i notice that on the OEM rotors there are two screws that hold on the rotors to the wheel hub......

these were easily removed with a philips screwdriver....my dilemna and i guess my question is that after i put on the new rotors...the holes dont match up to where the screws would bolt back on....

My question is ....wat are the purpose of those screws..and are they that important that i should make sure they line up and bolt em on...because i drove the car this mornin from home to work and it was fine....jus need a lil clarification

They're not that important. Did you try just rotating the rotor so that they would line up?

u dun need them.... it's just to align the rotors with the calipers during install.. once the calipers are bolted on, the rotor will stay in place regardless if the screw is on there or not

+1

When cars roll off the assembly line, they don't have wheels on them.
Those screws are there to hold the rotors in place
Once you have a rim on, the lug nuts will hold on the rim as well as the rotor
