Apparently just discovered that I need to replace my front sway bar bushings and when I checked the price on Majestic Honda, I almost fell off the chair.

51306-S84-A01 BUSH, STABILIZER HOLDER $4.34
51308-SW3-000 BRACKET, FR. STABILIZER $10.48
Subtotal $14.82
**Shipping Charge $7.89
Handling Charge $4.95
Total $27.66

Why are they sooooo expensive?

When I bought TL-S sway bar with bushings and brackets, total was $42 with shipping.

Should I buy just the stock ones or are there any good aftermarket ones?

be like it is
my moogs were $11.60, but why do you need the brackets? :eh: unless one is broken or rusted beyond the point of re-usability...

I thought getting a whole new set would be better? But my rubber thing is worn out and I can move the say bar up/down which makes sounds.
So I need

Why not just bring the bushing part number to a dealership and pay like $10 total? You probably won't need the brackets, and that way you dont pay for shipping.

it's not that theyre expensive.... it's the shipping and handling that makes it seem like a lot...

At least you don't own a BMW where replacing all the bushings sucks.

Lol, agree, I like how honda parts are cheap.

I guess I'll keep my car? lol till summer hehe

Oh and honda dealer didn't have them, so the guy ordered and total was $6.34 which is not bad, cheaper than online. That was just for rubber bushings.

True Story! I just spent about $1000 in bushings for the M3 and if I hadnt done the work myself it would have been close to $3000 in labor.

Its worth it though.
