Hey Ken quick question.... I'm getting this clunk in the coils when I go over bumps or cracks in the road. It seems to be worse when it's cold outside. I've replaced all my Suspension parts and to no avail. Im Thinking about putting the preload back to factory and see what happens. Any suggestions?

Ok I apologize in advance for excessive noob-ness... I spen 2 days searching and read all 57 pages of this post.

If I buy these type 1's, do I NEED any other components to make it work (ie camber kit)? Or do I just need these?

Be nice, I'm a cryer... And semi retarded, hence the name :dunce::dunce::dunce::dunce:

Because you were somewhat honest lol, i won't go to harsh.
To lower your car all you really need is the coilovers(you need a damper(shock) and a spring, along with the upper mounts) (ie. type ones or type twos if you're going with FunctionForm)). Depending on how much you lower the car you might need a camber kit in the rear, as the front doesn't become too bad unless you fully slam the sh1t out of the thing. The lower you set the car the more negative camber you will end up with. With FF coils you can slam the car to the ground if you wanted, however the highest you can ever go if you wanted is about 1 finger gap all around(from top of tire to inside edge of fender). After you pick a height that you like and are comfortable with GO GET AN ALIGNMENT; the shop should be able to set the toe to OEM spec (~0 in the front and i believe its a tad negative in the rear). The shop will also give you a report stating your previous and current values which will show toe, camber, caster etc. On this report you can see how bad your camber is and decide if you want a kit or not.

Now some other things to keep in mind...with a lowered car some things do wear a tad faster then with a stock car...these being ball joints, bushings etc. So it would be a wise decision to check your tie rods, upper/lower ball joints when you do install the coilovers to see if they do need replacing or show excessive play.
