hey guys,
my car has a long start,
at times i would turn the key and hold it an the car wont start untill mayb 10 seconds later

any input?

maybe its the ignition switch....search to find more info on it...couple of threads with enough info on it

Well I just recent changed the head gasket and serviced it at the same time. The car runs fine but when the engine gets hot it gives hell to start. It would just swing and swing then eventually after maybe 10 to 15 seconds turn over

Please elaborate on this "swinging" are you saying it wont sustain rotation till about 15secs( no firing). Next time you go to start your car turn the key to stage two and listen for the fuel pump. It will turn off when the little green key in your cluster does. An engine only needs four things to work: fuel, spark, air, and an initial rotation. Two of which you obviously have, now its just figuring out which of the other two are causing the problem.

this is off topic but umm we have a little green key light on our clusters? wtf!? i guess mines dead lmao

lol...its the green immobilizer light....its supposed to blink i think before starting ur car or after u turn it off...lol
