try moving the throttle body with your hand and see if the sticking is there...i kinda doubt it's the cable...it could be something with the throttle body...or less likely the pedal assembly...

try disconnecting the throttle cable and then pressing the throttle...that should let you know whether or not its the TB or the pedal assembly...if its smooth then it's the throttle body...

and im sure your TB is clean if you say so...but that doesn't rule out the assembly on the side where the cable attaches...you should check that for resistence as well

like i said before its ur throttle body. remove ur intake tube and get a throttle body/intaker cleaner and spray it for 5-10 secs. then attach it back and start car for 1 min and repeat it 3 times.

Ok. I went and further looked at the cable. On the part where the cable goes into the tensioner, I pushed it into the tensioner and noticed that it was stuck a little bit. Also I noticed that when the car is off, when you push on the gas you can always feel it stick. When the car is on, you feel it stick like once and then it stops.

Younglemon-It is not the throttle body being dirty.

^ I will definitely spray some wd40 on the cable and tensioner. When you say you sprayed it on the tensioner do you mean like around it were the wire comes out?
