I know our cars came with a manual tranny but I wasn't fortunate enough to get one. My question is should I try to find one from another 6th gen or will a newer one cit my 2002 coupe? I would prefer a 6 speed and but I am aware that 6th gens were only 5speed.

Then you can either swap to 5spd or sell your car and buy another.

There's no point in selling. The money it's worth is almost nothing. And I because it runs great and just needs a buff im deciding to keep it and buy a new car down the road, eventually turning the coupe into a hobby.h
