sorry to hear about this man, I hate that our coupes have such a big quarter panel. Hopefully you come out ahead in this situation.

Yep. I always park far away, or if I have to park between cars I’ll back in as far as I can so the rear quarter is less likely to get hit by people pulling out or opening doors.

I don't have my invoice but I hit a pole and it was about as bad as yours. Here is my thread on it:

I thought this was going to be a $3000-4000 repair but it was much less. They were able to pull it, rather than put a new quarter on. As I said in my post, it was not quite perfect but my problems were very minor. Honestly, I really can't even tell myself, I would doubt anyone who would be buying my car in the future would ever notice. I hope you can get yours pulled.

In my thread I said it cost about $1100, again, don't have my invoice. That was for them to pull the dent, paint the quarter from the trunk/tail light/bumper section up to about the middle of the window where they started blending leaving only a few inches of original paint. They also touched up a little scratch on the door.

Good luck, I truly hope you have a good experience like I did. I also went through one of the better shops in my area so it was not some discount work. I would say top 3 in the area and the Bay Area seem to be quite a bit more expensive than other places in labor.
