Ok guys, got my timing belt changed yesterday, worked out great! Well, today Im coming home, accelerating from stop to about 10mph, and I here this little whine when I accelerate. Sounds like its coming from the timing belt area. Im thinking its just the "break-in" of the new belts, thats what the mechanic said it probably would be, but I just wanted to see what you guys thought.

THATS IT! I knew I was overlooking something! That big thing on the block is a supercharger! So thats why he cut a hole in my hood....haha! J/K Yeah, it does it at idle a little too, it actually sounds pretty cool, almost like the beginning of a turbo spool....if I can dream...

here what i can conclude....if it whines at idle, and gets louder as u go faster, it could be:

1. bad grounding (whining noise coming from your speaker)
2. belt is too loose/tight

u sure it's not the serpentine belts (PS belt, alternator belts)?
