Got my timing belt changed! But what is this sound!????

Im going to try to take it back to the shop Monday, I will update you guys with the results.

either the Alternator or the tensioner need to be replace, which I have them both in my living room right now.

here what i can conclude....if it whines at idle, and gets louder as u go faster, it could be:

1. bad grounding (whining noise coming from your speaker)
2. belt is too loose/tight

u sure it's not the serpentine belts (PS belt, alternator belts)?

can you please elaborate on the "bad grounding" reason, cause my car just started doing a humming/whinding noise three days ago, and it goes away substantially when i disconnect my subs, but i can still hear it when i have my windows rolled up, and i try roll them up more, i think its my alternator, my mechanic thinks its a timing belt pulley (he just changed the timing belt 2 months ago) and my uncle thinks its my cheap stereo picking up the noise from my engine/alternator and sending it thru the speakers... any input would be helpful... sorry about the long read

ground ur car...get some wires and connect em to the negative terminal of your batter then run em to the three important points in your engine bay
