Got my windows tinted!!

+1....I got my Sedan tinted with 15% for $220, $20 of that was for the front strip.

dude thats only 18 bucks less ....

anyways, my friend got tint done for only 180. i think he got 20 and it looks lighter then mine now. that was the cheapest price i found plus i rather get tint done at a reputable shop and have it done right the first time then spend more time searching for a cheaper price and worry about it getting done wrong.

I got a life time warranty on the tint and the install, which is flawless, and my car isn't so freaking hot anymore. that's good enough for me.

Just wondering, you guys that got it for 100 bucks or so, how long ago did you get it installed? I've heard lots of people saying they got tint for 150 but that was like 5 years ago. More pics coming soon

The law here is 35 all around on sedans but I have 20s as a happy medium. I can see fine at night but I can tell the difference. To the guys with 5s... you are putting yourselves and other motorists/pedestrians in danger. Wait till you cause an accident or are involved in one and the insurance company finds you at fault for not being able to see/avoid an accident.

but what brand of tint do the cheaper shops use? as in...how many years before it fades/peels/bubbles? most places give you a warranty but bank on the fact that you'll get rid of your car before needing it. so if the tint lasts 5 years, how much good is a warranty since most people dont keep cars for 5 years?

id rather pay $200-300 to have a good shop use good tint that will last for 10+ years...cause guesssss what? put **** tint on your car, sell it, and stick people like me with the removal fee (like $80) then $200 to have new tint put on.

i have life time warranty (anything goes minus scratches) for 120 and just because you pay 200-300 for tint does not mean its good or they do a good job (dealer perspective they charge everything like 4x as much and do the same work). and 80 bucks to remove tint? thats another rip. maybe its because of locations. there are a lot of places in Cali competition wise.


i got mine installed around spring. it is still around this much. no need to research for the cheapest place either. they built a reputation. dont believe me? http: //www.yelp.com/biz/california-tint-inc-rosemead and i know alot of people who got their car done here for tint.
