hey guys I'm looking for a good GPS system. It doesnt have to be fancy, just enough so that when i move I wont get lost you know? so far my range is around 150 at best, but its seems like its not enough for a lot the reviews seen

I've only skimmed the surface and it seems like Garmin is a good brand
and TomTom gives a nice interface

anyone out there have a GPS navigator? opinions? etc.

I have a TomTom Go720 and I just simply love it. Very user friendly and loaded with all the features I need and don't need.

I've tried other GPS, but don't find it at friendly as TomTom UI. Now along the lines of $150, I think you can get the TomTom Once 3rd Edition for around that price.

What mobile do you have? If it is any nokia that runs sybian you can get Tomtom fot it. I have a Nokia E50 all I had to do was download the software for free from 'the pirate bay' and buy a cheep GPS bluetooth aerial. So my GPS cost me about £10 I have the latest maps and all the funny voices too.

We have a Garmin Nuvi that my parents use, and I have my own TomTom ONE. They both do a good job with directions and voice, but overall the Garmin interface is alot easier to set waypoints and enter favorites and what not. It also looks better when you're viewing the map, if that matters to you. The TomTom is able to customized a bit more, but I like the Garmin a bit better. But if you have a price limit, you might be better off getting a TomTom.
