It's finally decided! I'm getting the Greddy evo2 exhaust for my car. Should I also get this catalytic converter with it?

On the bottom of the page it states:
MagnaFlow Direct-Fit Catalytic Converters by Car Sound are designed for easy bolt-on installation for the Professional Installer. Welding, cutting and tube bending equipment is not required. ***Each is designed to exact original equipment specifications.***
I'm worried about the starred part. Does that mean that it is like OEM? It won't give any hp gain? I still need to get it anyway because the cat I have now is a universal one and it doesn't have the flanges to get bolted onto the evo2.
Also, what is the diameter of the piping of the Greddy evo2 exhaust? Is it 2.5" throughout the entire catback? That will fit onto the cat I showed above right? Is the evo2 available in other sizes? If so, is it a good idea to get a bigger diameter? I know my car's stock exhaust piping is 2", and the one I have now is 2.25". Is 3" a good idea or is it only for turbos?
Sorry for the long post. Thanks!
