Well first of all I'm at stock height with stock suspension (V6 Sedan). I got rid of my stock 15's and put 04 rsx base rims on my car with 205/55/16 tires offset and bolt pattern is the same. The outside of my calipers is grinding on the spokes of the rim. It's barely noticable except when I drive and slow to a stop. I dont want to run spacers. So my question is... is it safe to let the rims grind 1/8" of an inch off? Thank you in advance for your feedback.:buttkick:

slap on some 5mm spacers and you're all good most likely. 5mm does not require extended studs. Why risk the structural integrity of your wheels when something as easy as a bolt on can fix your problem.

I had this same problem but the rims grinded down after 2 days and everything was fine. It cuts away a very very small amount of the rim. Very unnoticeable.

Had the same problem. Took the wheels back to the guy. If ur going to keep them I would use spacers and-or take off the wheels and grind the excess metal off the calipers. Dunno, just my 2cnts.
