You should have no problem with 18's. What tire size and spec of the rims are you going for? If I had some 18's laying around I would take a picture for reference haha.

My setup is basically the lowest setting possible for the ground control sleeves and the koni yellows. Its low enough to give a nice look, but also to get over speed bumps and driveways easily without scrapping my whole car.

There are some speed bumps in the plaza where I live that feel like mountains :nutkick:

Lol, I know what you mean. The mall has a good amount of speedbumps where I am at so I just try to take the back road so I don't have to go over those speedbumps and have people looking at me like hurry the **** up lol.

I hate when there are people behind me because the honking isn't going to make me go any faster! I also try to take the back entrance and drive all the way around to avoid speed bumps

I'm at no finger gap all around, though I do wish I can go a bit lower. To be honest, I run 17x8 +38 and 17x9 +38 in the rears and at the lowest setting I don't even rub, maybe on some crazy dips or pot holes, but daily driving my car like this I haven't had any control arm hitting or rub my fenders. I'm only slightly rolled also, plan on rolling it some more after I get some 15mm spacers.

Sweet, so I guess even with no fingergap these coils are stiff enough to disallow any contact with the fenders unless a pretty big bump is hit. And you said your Koni's are on their softest setting? I have mine turned up 1.5 turns, so I should have no problem.

I'm not rolled at all, and don't plan to since I am not interested in tucking tire. But my new wheel specs are similar to yours, at least in the front which will be 18x8 +38. Rear will be 18x9 +25, which is why I'm wanting to go lower in the first place, to pull the rears in a little with natural camber since the rear specs are somewhat aggressive.

Sir, you have been repped. Thank you for your attention in this thread, and helping me with the info I need! :)

CB, were you looking at getting the default rate(12/8)?

If so, I don't think you will want to go stiffer in the back, since you don't have alot of extra weight in the trunk.

Based on what 20-CG5 just said above, I think I am good with the default rates. Only reason I would change them is if I call and they tell me the default rates are much much harder than Sportline rates. Then I may want to soften them a bit. But I probably won't either way since softening them may cause me to rub and negate what I said above. The default rates can't be that hard I wouldn't think.

I think I got what I needed. Now I just need to find some money to buy them, lol. I'll know where things stand after we close on our house.

@Steven - the temporary set are 18 x 8(8.5) at most? I could be wrong because they currenty have 235 tires on them, which I would not be using. The tires are also not stretched either.

The set I plan to get are 18x9, and I would probably run 225's on those. The offset is +24 F/R.

@Fairoze - I got a "Be patient, I'm Lowered" decal for just that reason.

@Chris - If you plan on getting them through that ebay seller, of course you can confirm the default rate, but I am pretty sure it's 12/8. You would think to stay competitive with full coils, they would lower the price on them, but I guess since they are pretty much the premier brand, they don't have to.

What's this new news......a house purchase? That's fantastic, congrats!

I'm at the stiffest in the front and rears are about 50:50. It still makes a comfortable drive and yes my upper control arm has never hit my shock tower. To be honest I could have not rolled my fenders and gotten away with it, I would just have to drive careful as **** though lol. But after a slight roll, some small bumps on the road my tires won't even get into contact with my fenders. But I beleive that your rears are going to for sure need some work since the offset is a lot lower than mines, can't wait to see the new setup!

You should be fine with 225's on those. Are you planning to run 225/35-18 all around?

If I'm not mistaken, you should have a slight stretch with those tires and with the ground control sleeves and koni combo, they should sit very nice.

Edit: thanks for the rep Chris.
