Derek, I just noticed this post. Please don't. Go with something else. Falken is better and easy on the wallet! Or you could go with Kumho or General

I am not opposed to looking in to some different tires, although I have had no problems with the Nexen's I ran on my old 18's.

So then the GC's, as they come in the box, are the best way?

That’s the route I’m taking. Steven said he has no gap and doesn't rub, so they're firm enoug and an out of the box rate can't be that harsh. So it suits my needs as is.

Now just a matter of where to order them from, and when.

Not sure what you mean by the first part. The best way for what?

They are not $40 extra for the Yellows, it's $40 extra for the Yellow Sports.

That ebay seller also does not charge the extra $40 as well, so that is another option.
So no $40 then. Awesome.

What I meant was, we can use the default rates. Chris said the default rates for the GCs would be just fine. I was double-checking.

Oh, yeah, sorry. Yes, the default rates, unless you have alot of audio in the trunk, would be fine.

Not 100% sure that all sellers carry them at the 12K/8k default rate, so I would recommend making sure that is what they are before buying.

I dont plan on buying them from an individual. I'll pay that little extra to get them from a site or reputable place.

I was talking about buying them new, just make sure that the 12K/8K default rate is what they are selling you.
