so imlooking at ground control coil springs, it can adjust from 0 to 3 inches, but how low can our cars go with just coil springs, before the towers want to break

If you put anything on your struts, they're going to want to break. Even an aftermarket spring will be a lot of stress onto it. My advice (and mostly everyone else's) is do it right the first time and pair those ground controls with some stronger shocks. A good combo I was originally going to do were GC sleeves with Koni yellows so I can still use the dampening feature like full coilovers.

Then I went with FF2 coilovers and they're sitting in my room waiting for me to get off my lazy *** and install them.
