^^yeah... some stuff he posted sounds bogus, but here's what i think he meant tho:

HeaderS?? - he's a noob? lol

ecu UPGRADE?? Custom job?? - reprogrammed ECU?

AEM is a VTEC controller?? - AEM EMS? but if he has that, why the ECU upgrade

4880rpm engagement?? - i guess he meant VTEEEKKKK engagement point?

ECU Upgrade/Custom Hondata + AEM EMS is bull.

He forgot to mention that he converted to OBDI for his hondata, and the AEM CAI sticker turns on at 4880rpm.

4880rpm VTEC? This isin't a B16.

doesn't the F23 vtec kick in at 4.5K or 5K or something?

Get into second gear, around 1500 rpms, and punch it. VTEC will engage at 2100rpm. The torque curve of the car naturally peaks around 4200rpm. VTEC in F23's is NOT designed for top end performance like most VTEC motors. It's was designed for low and mid-range torque. lol not to pick you out, but I'm pretty sure that's the fifth time I've stated that today. The cam lobe profiles, timing, and fuel/ignition maps are all optimized for ~2500 to ~4500 rpm.

True statement..VTEC "kick's" in at lower rpm's for our Accord, which is why it is not really noticeable in sound or feel

Also, the part I bolded..that's why our cars A/F ratio seem to go crazy above 4k..

Or it could be what Greg said, and be a J32, which would account for the headerS..but not much else, lol. Like why you would swap a cl-s motor with the auto tranny
