Okay I need some help understanding something. For those of you in the MD,DC& VA area that have heard of inlinePro. I called today just to get an estimate on installing an H22 into my 6thgen. The guy I spoke to said that it is such a headache, and something about long term problems. He said they just won't even touch it.

He said that you would have to fabricate something for the Tranny to fit. Also he said that it wouldn't be worth it because of the chasis weight. Okay I am not saying that this is true but will someone help me out..

He kind of made me rethink my whole dream of getting an H22:talk-punch:

there are numerous guys around these forums that have swapped to h22 alreadys by themselves, if a guy in his garage can do it, a shop can do it. I say you ask the guys who have swapped already about the swap, that shop is just worried about their bottom line, and they dont wanna waste time and money on h22 swaps in accords, tahts why tehyre giving you esxcuses. Any shop worth its salt can do this swap, dont listen to their bs.

Whoever you talked to at that shop is full of **** with some of those lame *** excuses he's giving you. Find someone or some place else that can help you out.

Wow, sounds like you talked to a lazy *** dude lol.

Accordian said it best, if a guy in his garage can pull it off, any decent shop should be able to.

yeah it's not worth it to work on a 6thgen accord. swapping in an H22 is a waste of time. modding cars is a waste of time. it's not worth the effort to tune a car. driving a car is pointless. don't even buy a car, do yourself a favor and get a bus pass. life is not even worth it...that guy is a ****ing queer. he is a JDM snob i bet.

Your right they could of done the work but they closed down and could not finish my car now it's some where else just waiting on a few things that should arrive by sat and it should be done at the new shop haha.

Don't deal with Inlinepro they built fast S2000, civics etc but they won't touch an accord or something in that line. I called them just to see if they could help me out last year and the the same bastard you spoke to put me on hold and told me they don't work on that model car etc etc, I said thank you and I had a shop in mind that could do it already and I also told them people I know do these swaps in their home garages and hanged up lol.

A freind of mine has a 450whp 2000 prelude and they would not work on his car unless he pulled the motor out and dropped it off to them which he did. They do great work and make great parts and build fast *** cars but they could give 2 ****s about your accord really that's the way they are and I will never spend a penny or support them in anyway.

I was planning on paying someone to do my swap but I was tallking to one of my friends that swapped a GSR into his CRX and it looks like we will be working on the swap our selves anyway.

This is what I was looking for from you guys. I need to sit down and get everything I could possibly need for the swap... I wanna go with an OBDII
H22 and I can alway swap to OBDI..
I found a few good prices especially on e-bay from JDM engine shops.
