the h22 tranny on the f23, will make you run out of gearing fairly quickly. That tranny is very close ratio on a f motor, and seeing the f's rev limit, it will quickly run out of steam. I remember a guy who had one on his f23, quicker but ran out of gearing very quickly, which was downfall on a non-high reving motor. Unless some internal and headwork is done to justify higher rev limits, I think the F23 tranny is better suited for a F motor

Now is this on a boosted route or N/A route???

Running out of gears? Boosted or N/A won't affect it, its just how many rpms your motor can handle. Shorter geared cars such as rxs's rev around 3k rpms at 60miles/hr while our cars with longer gears run at about 2.3k rpms at the same speed. So now you can apply the same kind of concept with an h22 tranny on the f motor, you'll be at the redline much quicker than with the f23 tranny. Thats a really good point Egi7 made, I didn't even think of that at all...

I wouldn't worry about short gears and boost. My talon had short gears, that was fine. It did have 2k more rpms though. But if you turbo spools decently early, it will be fine, probably more fun as well. Plus it will help off boost. However, i've never driven an accord with an H22 tranny, i don't think that long gears are essential (or necessarily advantagous, depending on how much power) with boost.

i have the H22A 5 spd lsd tranny on my f23a and it pulls lot quicker. but for boost you should stick with the f23a tranny.
