Headers finally gave up

keeping in mind you have different weather and roads + not sure if garage kept, I've had mine for like four years

not any sign of rust, somehow still pretty shiny too

My car is garage kept... Never outside overnight. Also humidity/rain/snow does make a lot of difference lol. I just found my old headers and they are so ugly lol. I wanted to put them on but I was like meh, they are really rusty and not worth it.

My friend got some high temp rust protectant that he sprayed on his exhaust. It's just like paint and it supposedly should work. I would just take apart your header, clean it and spray it over to prevent this from happening again.

I think I broke one of the wholes on the Y-pipe where it mounts to catalyc converter since it was all rusted.

I talked to my friends shop and he said he'll do it for $20 bucks tomorrow. Can't wait to get it fixed, as it sounds horrible lol.

^Cheaper than going to a scrap yard probably, so might as well.
