Heating up when sitting in traffic or stopped

Hey guys sorry for bringing this thread back but i have a question. Well i had done a flush and that seemed to have helped but now its back. So today i was going to purchase the fan switch but i didnt know which i needed there is one in the thermostat housing and one in front cylinder head....so which is it? thanks for any help in advance.

^ +1. Get a low-temp thermostat while you're at it.. That never hurts, unless you're afraid of your coolant being too low in temp during running the car which could cause power loss in the right circumstances.

thanks guys and yeah i already replaced the thermostat originally thinking that was the problem.

hey guys thanks i got my car fixed i got the fan switch and then did a radiator flush and no more overheating!!

double check your grounds, thread bumping again here, hope im not to late.
I had a serious problem stopping and breaking, had a lose battery cable, tightened her up and was good to go.
