when i bought my 02 coupe ex the previous owner got in an accident and when he fixed it, he didnt put new horns back in. so i thought why not go all out and get hella horn supertones. but i dont know how i would conect these or mount them. any ideas? id like an idea of how to do it before i order them. thanks

also if you know of another good loud horn, not an air horn, that mounts and wires easily to the steering wheel that would be appreciated

You can find the diagrams for the stock horn mounts online and the just follow that and the instructions that come with the Hella Horns.

well i have a few plugs hanging in the area where they would go, i dont know which plug is for the horn. also aftermarket horns wire in through a relay. i dont know how i could go from that plug to the relay in a clean way, not cutting the plug and tie wires together

how does the stock horn sound? if its loud enough to catch attention and not terribly feminen i might just get that to make it easy. i just know most if not all jap cars have a tiny beep for a horn

It's actually a really strong authoritative sounding horn! Not a little "meep meep" sounding horn. I looked at the hella horns recently but couldn't see the point since I like the stock one so much.

Our stock horn sounds lame as hell. Sounds like a grandma horn...... so yeah Honda did a good job matching it with the Accord haha.
If you haven't heard the horn in these cars, find someone you know with a cg and ask them to let you hear the horn. It sounds dumb in my opinion.

From 1:00 to the end is funny. lol

^ it's just a 2009 Honda Accord horn, nothing crazy. He said it's only $12.
