Hi everyone,

I really enjoy reading you guy's and I thought it was time to finally register and take part to your community :)

My name is Kevin, 22, and I come from the South of France, not far away from Monaco.

Last summer was given to me a 2000 Accord Coupe V6 Luxury with a dead tranny. I've done the gearbox overhaul myself, however I still have some work to do on the car. The AV6 is really uncommon in France, since I have mine, I don"t think I've seen another one.

I'll make a thread about my car and the rebuild of the tranny when I'll be allowed to post links, I've got a load of Pics of my work on it.

I haven't driven it a lot yet, but I really love it, even if a car that needs 15 L/100km is a bit decadent in France :)

I also own a 2006 Honda Civic, 1.8 I-vtec; It's the European Hatchback version. This Civic is a real pleasure to drive anywhere, on road, on track, and I never had a Problem with it, even if I'm a bit rough with it sometimes.

Welcome, thanks for joining! I think you'll have tons of fun with the Accord! Congrats on rebuilding the tranny on it yourself, doesn't sound easy.

Thanks for the welcoming :) You'll have to wait 7 days for the pics of the car, today I've swapped the wheels between the Civic and Accord, I'm studying in the north of France and I need winter tyres, and it's cheaper for 16 inches wheels. Changed the front brake pads and discs, no more vibration, which is nice. The 17 inches wheels from the Civic really look good on the Av6.

Just to try if I can put pics in my messages, drove to Isola 2000 Under heavy rains, then snow with the AV6, wonderful ride, I love it. This is the road I took :

Road map

As you can see, it's quite curvy, a 100km version of the Nordschleife^^

But made it to the top, when many got stuck in the valley.
