new member but have been a fan of the site for over a year.
a guy i know is offering me an h22a4 off a 99 prelude with 117000 miles that has a rod knock. he says he can rebuild it with h22a jdm internals and will sell me the motor and swap it in for me for $1200.
he would bolt the motor up to my f23a4 tranny, rehook up my spray, and do the work with my ecu for that price
i guess i just dont know a whole lot about h22s but does that price sound right?
lookin for feedback and any suggestions
thanks!

If you can get a mechanic to check out that engine, I would suggest that.

The price is great for what you would be getting, you just don't want to have any headaches afterward because of something that may have been overlooked.

Welcome to the site. If you go through with the motor, make sure you do your homework.
