HELP! 01 fog light installation FAILED

so i spent 4 hours hookin up everything and at the final hour wen it was all done and i was happy for my fogs, they didnt turn on. what did i do wrong? wen i press the foglight button, the button itself doesnt light up. waht do u guys think i did wrong. thx

first thing i would do is check your ground and power
everything that i ground, i always sand it down to bare metal...
if not that, then just check all your connections.
hope you figure it out though.

Check grounds, as for your fog button, bulb burned out, maybe? On mine the light would stay on at all times, fogs bieng on or off, could have something to do with the relay

are they oem fogs?...

dont quote me on this but i believe the oems will only turn on if you have your headlights on...

Are they OEM's on an OEM harness? If so there is a plug you need to pull from the driver side fuse box and plug into the harness plug, then another plug coming off the harness plugs back into the fuse box.

what do u mean by ground? and yea thyre OEM i got them off handaasseccesory. i connected everything that needed to be connected.

if its the the plug from harness that comes out of a hole and that was taped up with blue tape then i took off the blue taped and plugged that plug with the plug from my fog harness . what plugs are u talkin about for the plug that plugs into the fuse box?

Nope, you are in the right area but wrong plug. Here is an image below..

thats what i did. that the second green plug rite. yap i did that. sigh. iono if this might be the problem but at this part

that plug, its grease was all black and dirty. i squeezed in the other plug into it but iono if that dirty grease from the plug that was alrady in the car effects it or not. idk.

and for the plug i took a pic of. i jsut leave that alone rite?
