Help cleaning up spambots

What else can we do to help. Spamming is getting worse. Is there no captcha before complete sign up or activation email.

Werd. It's flooding the forums now, especially at night time.

edit: All of the ones that I saw just disappeared. Weird....

What about adding a CAPTCHA to the signup screen? I'd say it's an option for vBulletin forums, or at least is should be.

not sure if we have tht option, but the admin went ahead and implemented several new procedures to stop the spambots.. let's see if they work

I think those new procedures are working effectively b/c I don't see those weird posts anymore. (Unless mods manually cleaned them up before I logged in.)

Glad it's working! Spams... They're only good as "musubi", if you know what I mean.
