i found a really nice set of wheels recently and have been trying to do the research on how they will fit on my car. i come up with nothing and now come to you guys for help. i have a 99 sedan ex 4cyl, H & R springs 2.25 front 1.75 rear drop. wheels are 18x8 with a 35 offset. any help with correct tire sizes would be good too, thats of they will fit.

You shouldn't have any problems fitting those wheels. Might have to roll rear fenders but try and test fit the wheels before you do any rolling or cutting.

Also a good tire size would be a 225/40/18.

No... they should sit perfectly flush wth the front and rear fenders.

225/40/18 tires.

I have the same springs... if you use Koni Yellows (which you should with those springs) you'll need to roll the rear fenders or run -2º camber.

with 18x8 and that kind of offset? you want a good fitment or you want to have the tire stretched to make it fit?
the offset of the wheels will give you trouble with your drop..

215/40 will need to be stretched to make it fit << too thin..you will kill your rim if you dont know how to go around the potholes or bumps
225/40 will need to be stretched to make it fit. << it will do if you dont mind it being stretched
235/40 will be the correct size for it with that offset..
im not a big fan of stretched tires ..i got 225/40 on my 18x8 offset 40 before and it wasnt my cup of tea so i switched it out to 235/40

Your best options....the 225/40 will be a bit of a stretch, but not that bad.
