Hid Fog light flickers

I have the civic fogs with hids in them they come on fine until I get my music and subs going then tge left side flickers and turns off... I was considering maybe making my own fog light harness but with a bigger gauge of wire for less resistance. Any suggestions on what I should do or if I make my own harness any hits?

get a better battery... the HIDs are not getting enough power

Or maybe wire it up with the switch like it is supposed to be wired?

im pretty sure he has a relay ... get a switch its better for the HIDs and yea your probably going to need a better battery ... your balance will eventually go bad if you let that keep happening ... let your fogs fully turn on b4 blasting your system they might last longer

Well, I didn't see in your post that you have a relay, so if not I would recommend getting one first.
Also, (as previously stated) you should look into a new battery & altenator

But the relay is first as that may rectify the problem

with the bass knocking, an the music loud its spiking your power for the h.i.ds. get a better battery with more cranking amps and reserve capasity, possable 2 ohm farat cap for your music( that will mostly stop all the spiking an light dimming) also while your at it get your self a fuse relay harness at tophidkits.com. it will help out alot trust me i used to have the same problemsan now there all fixxed

Yea I have a relay and I have the oem accord switch on there. Thanks a lot JDMCG7 I'll look into that harness
