So i followed a DIY that was meant for us to be able to turn our fogs on and off with the drl, and now i want to go ahead and put hids in my fogs. my question is, will there be enough power coming from the lil light under the high beams to power the fogs that are hooked up to it ? would the fogs be pulling too much and possibly melt the wire ?

I wouldn't power HID lighting off of wiring designed for a 168/192 bulb. Why are your fogs hooked up to the parking light wiring?

It can be done if you use a relay. Also you'll need to know how to properly use a relay.

Since I don't use high beams I used the ballast and plugged it in there and into my fogs
