How do you silence the ticking on the blinker?

blink. blink.blink.blink.blink.
if we just send him lots of messages saying nothing but this, soon he will forget about the sounds coming from the dash. he will be so annoyed with us that the turn signal will seem calming.

If the blinkers didn't make the "tick" sound they would stay solid, so you may as well keep not using them. The tick comes from a bimetallic strip in the flasher that heats up from the current lighting the bulb and pulls the strip off the contact, opening the circuit. Once it cools, it lights the bulb and repeats. Now you've got a flasher.
