I have the same problem with my setup with GCs...I have about a one and a half finger gap in the front with the coils spun all the way down. Everything was installed correctly, and the rears will tuck about a half finger of tire when spun all the way down.

lol i had the same problem too but i toook care of it. now im dumped no fender gap all around with ground control on illuminas
and no tokico hp cant handle the drop. the ride will be really crappy. the shocks might not blow but they will want to.

You said you swapped the front and rear springs though. I don't want to change my handling like that.

Nah, I asked him and he said he knew which was the front and which was the rear, and he switched them on purpose since the rear springs have a lower spring rate or something like that.
Got the slammage, but he said it rode awkward as hell.

A lot of civic guys modify the top hat using metal pipe so that the top strut mount protrudes a couple inches, giving the strut some extra travel so it doesn't bottom out. That'd probably be your cheapest/easiest route.
