how would you go about taking a picture like this!?

this goes out to all the pro photographers we have. Please shed some light as to what you would do to go about taking a picture like this. I have a Canon 300D and it looks really cool! and i wanna learn how to do it. Nub question. Thanks

the right location, the right time, and photoshop skills

its taken with a wide angle lens like the canon 10-22 like raymond uses. theres a little bit of the vignetting effect to darken the edges. there's probably some adjusting of levels, shadows/highlights in order to get the clouds to look the way they are and thats it.

lighting, weather, time of day, angle can make all the difference

I would appreciate this too. I have used Picasa to mess with some things in my pics but just can't get the handle of PS or Gimp.

keep your car clean...wait til right after a big storm til when the clouds are cool looking and grab your wide angle lense and find a good location...maybe use the burn tool on the clouds a little and adjust the shadows/highlights
