My mugen front lip broke yesterday because during driving my Accord coupe on the highway about 50 mph pass over a piece of recap of tire of a truck on road but now I can feel a little difference without my mugen fron lip when i want to move fast because feel best air ventilation toward to AEM CAI .I don't know if the mugen lip block little air ventilation toward the CAI.
I Need opinions about my hypothesis.

the lip prevents air from going under the car, causing a low pressure area under the engine bay, improving airflow through the radiator, and preventing aerodynamic lift.

if you really think it messes with your CAI, then cut a big hole in your bumper so the air hits it directly.

>.< thats why its not a good idea... lol. or just stick with a SRI.

a lip shouldnt really affect your intake..... my car didnt feel faster or slower with or without mine... even if it did it probably wouldnt be a significant difference.

That's ODD!!! The Mugen lip shouldn't restrict airflow. If you feel like it is than you should remove the passenger OEM fog light and get more airflow to your CAI that way..

HHHMMMM you should test that out and see if you notice a difference..

Well, a lip does restrict air from going under the car. That's the real point of them, to create a low pressure zone under your car and increase downforce. Now will a simple ebay lip do this? Maybe...But probably with no noticeable effect on how much air is going to your filter. It is technically possible though.
