This is a such a sad day. my thoughts and prayers go out to the families of those students.
It amazes me how there was the initial shooting and the campus did NOT go into lock down and they thought that the shooter left the school..WTF
I have a feeling that there will be some students that will be transferring because of this.

Wildman it's been one hell of a day. I'm very glad you were not one of the 32 unlucky ones. I will never understand mass shootings like this. It saddens me and it makes me angry at the exact same time. Such loss of life is unimaginable.

To the families, friends, and to all at VT we will keep our thoughts and prayers and good vibes coming your way.

So much can be said about this day. It will be in the history books like Culumbine.

As we get more and more details on what happened, we will get some of the answers as to why the campus took a couple hours to worn people and shut down campus.

I won't speculate on why it took the campus 2 hours to shut down the school. Reports are sketchy at best at this point. I think I'll save what I think about it for another discussion.

Again very glad to hear you are ok. But thoughts and prayers go out to you and those that are left behind to figure out why. and my thoughts and prayers go out to the victims, their families, their friends, loved ones, may you find peace and understanding

Im very glad to hear that you are OK, and as I said before, your schoolmates are in my prayers. I think this situation proves the lack of emergency preparation that schools have in place. I couldn't imagine how LSU would respond with 30,000 students, and a campus with as much area as it has.

I dont know you, but glad your ok! I have a friend that goes to there for Aerospace engineering and thankfully he is also ok. This situations just sucks.......WTF is wrong with people? Im a college student also and its frustrating to hear a situation like this....33 people that lost their futures for no reason. Senseless killing......really upsets me. However, thankfully the loss of life was not greater. If it could have been less, shame on those responsible........however, who really would have expected 2 deaths to multiply to 33? Probably did not want to cause campus wide panic. Im just still, grrrrr im at a loss for words.......wish the prick ran out of bullets before he popped himself.
