I need a 2nd opinion 17x9 or 18x8.5

So my girl isnt helping out cause she thinks everything is cute I just finish ordering my F&F type 1 and my girl is buyin me some rims I know there alot of mix feeling bout xxr, u love them or u hate them but im not gonna break my girls pocket, there great looking rims for cheap....looking at 962 18x8.5 wit 215/40/18 2" lip or 962 17x9 wit 215/40/17 3" lip.....wut to do wut to do.....

I like 18's..i think 17's non oem rims look too small for our cars. But id get the 951's..

i wanted 18's, but ended up with 17's and i love them. do they look a little small, yes, but the ride is quite comfortable, and if you are plannin on tucking the tire then you have a little more room to work with the stretch and profile of the tire.

depends if you wanna be flush get the 17s but if not then just get 18s

Why is your girlfriend buying you rims? Anyway, I'd go with the 18's, but what slowrider said above should be considered if that's your thing.

I had somewhat of the same situation, but I already have brand new tires lol.
Yeah what the others are saying, depends on what look you're going for.

If you want flush go with 17's . If you want it to look a lil bigger then do 18's.
It's all a matter of what you want and your opinion.
