Go to your parents, I don't care if they're step-parents, and tell them you love them. You never know when it will be your last time to say it. Do whatever you have to do, call, e-mail, write, anything. Just do it.
My father just passed away on July 12th. He was 47 years old. It makes no difference that he was my step-dad, none of that matters now.
