i need some opinions

i just got a quote from rpm NYC to do a auto to manny conversion. they told me with parts and labor it would be in the range 2200- 2500 and if i provide parts the labor will be 1500. what do you guys think is that a resonable price or they are :bash:

Is doing the i4 auto-->5spd that much cheaper than the V6's auto-->6spd swap?? ....damn....

definately not because over by shea, with parts, they told me 500 when i wanted to do it on my cb7 and there is another place on remsen and ralph in brooklyn that quoted me 650 with parts

Hmmm, $1500 for labour if you have the parts......it probably would be cheaper than the V6 swap, not sure if that price is a little steep though if you have all the parts. There are people who could chime in though, as they have gotten this type of work done, I'll let them reveal themselves. :coffee:

hook a brother up with these shops. these people from rpm nyc is in queens village. i still owe like less than 3g's on the car. so it would make no sense for me to do the swap now. i rather pay the car off then do the swap unless i can get a price like you said . ill swipe that credit card quick fast and in a hurry

well its that much if you have the parts... liek tranny, clutch and flywheel and everything needed... im pretty it will run you about a a couple hundred bucks but check out the shop across from shea... its on the corner directly across from the magnaflow sponsored dealer...they do good work
